My name is João Silva and I qualified in 2011 at University Fernando Pessoa in Porto. I have been working in the UK since 2013 and exclusively in private practice in the London and Kent area since 2015.
I have completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery MSc at University of Manchester (2014-2016). I also recently completed a Periodontology MSc at Eastman Dental Institute – UCL (2019-2022).
I have attended several postgraduate courses in the field of Implantology, Restorative, Periodontology and Endodontics. I have a special interest in full mouth rehabilitation, oral surgery, dental implants and periodontal treatment including cases of gum recession.
I consider myself as enthusiastic, honest and friendly. I am calm and used to treat nervous/anxious patients.
I am a firm believer in continually updating my knowledge base and skill set and therefore I attend several courses annually.
